Infinite water fountain

Contrex water, epoxy resin, tile adhesive, polyurethane foam, polystyrene, acrylic, pigment, graphite, plastic foam, Contrex water bottle, pump.119 x 49 x 61 cm. Infinite water fountain shows a water cycle, with the source starting from a plastic bottle that flows endlessly over oil-covered rocks. This waterfall-like fountain over pebbles is a paradoxical object as are mineral waters. The one presents nature artificially, created as a decorative archetype of Zen culture, and the other represents the purity of water while it generates its own pollution. Thus, the original Contrex slogan: “What is most important in this water is what you don’t see”, takes on a new meaning in this sculpture.
